Bristol wins 'Hello' Campaign of the Year Award

The Bristol Hello Group, led by Bristol City Council, North Bristol Trust and NHS Bristol, is celebrating after winning a Shine a Light national campaign award for their outstanding contribution towards the Hello campaign (national year of communication).

Helen Hambly - British Psychological Society Annual Conference 2012

Helen Hambly will be speaking about her experiences of using arts-based research methods with children with language impairment in the Qualitative Methods in Psychology section of the British Psychological Society Annual Conference in London (18-20 April 2012). 

Aphasia Alliance

Julie Ward and Brian Petheram attended the meeting of the Aphasia Alliance at Newcastle University in November 2011 which had the theme of Technology and Aphasia. Brian gave an invited talk on Computers and Aphasia.

Specialists in Specific Speech Impairment network

Yvonne Wren and Sue Roulstone attended the second meeting of the Specialists in Specific Speech Impairment network in Sheffield in July this year. The prime purpose of this network is to provide a forum for promoting research activity in SSI, improving standards through research findings and influencing policy.
