Knowledge Elicitation Techniques - EU Cost Action training course

Professor Sue Roulstone (back row 2nd from right) joined European colleagues, in Aalborg Denmark,  to provide information on the Knowledge Elicitation techniques used in our recent ‘Child Talk

The course on mixed methods was organised by Professor Kristine Jensen de Lopez from Aalborg University (front row, red hat). The training course was run by the European COST Action – Enhancing children’s oral language skills across Europe a collaboration focusing on children who have difficulty learning their first language.

Some friends of the Bristol Speech & Language Therapy Research Unit were also present: Dr Rena Lyons from Galway, Ireland (2nd from left) who completed her PhD studies with the University of the West of England, Maja Kelic, from Zagreb (3rd from left) who spent a week at the unit last autumn, Inge Klatte from Utrecht (back row 3rd from right) who completed her Masters thesis with Sue at the Research Unit and her Utrecht University supervisor Dr Ellen Gerrits (back row, far left).
